Teddies Garden (referred to hereafter as “we”, “us” or “our”) is an online showcase for the work of UK-based teddy bear artist Katherine Uphill. We hope all visitors to our website (referred to hereafter as “you” or “your”) will have an enjoyable browsing experience and we thank you for your interest. To minimise the risk of your Teddies Garden experience being marred by any misunderstanding, we set out below our Trading, Privacy and Security Policies. We shall assume that your continued website browsing and/or the placement of an order with us indicates that you accept these policies. Please be aware that Katherine’s teddy bears and teddy bear accessories are intended for adult enthusiasts and are not recommended for children.
Placing an Order and Payment
Visit our Online Shop and browse our teddy products. If you would like to purchase an item, follow the online instructions to place and pay for your order. We accept credit/debit card payments (Amex, Visa, MasterCard) via WooCommerce Payments and Stripe, or Paypal. You can also use your Amazon account – just select this option when you view your cart. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer please contact us for further details.
We would like to point out that our website photographs are digital renditions of our products and that internet transmission and viewing device settings may produce images that differ slightly from the original, particularly in colour shades.
Order Confirmation
Upon receipt of your order and payment, we will email you an order confirmation.
Shipping
Your order will normally be shipped within 2 working days from the confirmation of your order.
All products are shipped free-of-charge within the United Kingdom. We offer a fixed rate shipping charge for international deliveries. This is currently set at £3.50 for TG Boutique products (up to four items in one package), £4.00 for TG Showcase products (up to 2 items in one package), £6.50 for Tiny Teddies products (up to three items in one package) and £8.50 for Bigger Bears products (up to 2 items in one package). Creative Crafting products are downloadable PDF files and, therefore, not subject to any shipping charges. The relevant shipping charge, and any applicable taxes, will be automatically added to the purchase price at checkout. We are not responsible for non-UK customs charges.
We generally use Royal Mail delivery services but we can provide quotations for alternative shipping methods if required. The choice by you of an alternative shipping method may incur additional shipping charges.
Your purchase will be bubble-wrapped and shipped in either a box or a padded envelope to minimise the risk of damage in transit.
Delivery
Delivery time is determined by the carrier and will vary according to the destination, season, and other factors beyond our control. We generally use tracked delivery services and, if available, we will send you the tracking details for your package. Arrangements for the acceptance of your delivery is your responsibility but we will inform the carrier of any instructions you provide.
Cancelling Your Order
You may cancel your order before it is dispatched by contacting us by email at contact@teddiesgarden.com. Your payment and any shipping costs will be refunded in full. Please be aware that you cannot cancel downloaded products.
Returning Your Order
We hope that you will be satisfied with your purchase. If, however, it turns out to be not what you wanted, or its quality and/or condition does not meet your expectation, you may return your order, provided you inform us by email at contact@teddiesgarden.com within 7 days of its receipt by you. We will confirm the return after which the item should be dispatched to us within 5 working days. Please note that we cannot accept returns which have not been authorised.
A return item must be in its original packaging, and in perfect condition. We reserve the right to refuse a return if these criteria are not met, if the return has been damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging, or if the return does not reach us. The cost of the return postage will be borne by you. If our return conditions are met, we will refund you in full (less shipping costs, including those incurred by us on items shipped free-of-charge). Please be aware that you cannot return downloaded products.
Privacy
When you create an account and/or place an order with us, you will provide your name, billing and mailing addresses, email address and phone number so that we can process and ship your order. This information is sent securely through our SSL encrypted protocol and will never be shared by us with third parties for commercial purposes.
Our website uses cookies to collect anonymous analytical data for our information (e.g. audience demographics, page performance statistics).
We maintain a secure record of customer orders and details for possible future reference, which may include informing you of any news or offers which we think may interest you. If you would like us to delete your details from our records after your order has been fulfilled, or not send you any further communications you can opt out at checkout, or inform us by email at contact@teddiesgarden.com
Security
Credit/debit card payments are processed by either WooCommerce Payments, Stripe or PayPal, or via your Amazon account (depending on your selection at check-out) using fully secure, encrypted systems. We do not have access to this sensitive information.
