Teddies Garden showcases Katherine Uphill’s handmade bears, teddy accessories and creative projects. Our first website was launched in August 2015. Since 2016 Teddies Garden has exhibited at the Hugglets Teddy Bear Festivals, held in London each February and September (except during pandemic lockdowns!). Teddies Garden was registered as a limited company (No. 13607047) in September 2021.
Whilst Katherine creates her works-of-art, husband Chris keeps the administrative cogs turning, and this website updated. From our home-based studio and office in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we seek to offer an outstanding, personalised experience to fellow teddy bear enthusiasts and crafters.

Each bear and accessory in Teddies Garden, handcrafted by Katherine from a range of quality materials, is unique and never repeated. Katherine says, “I hope that my creations can be kind-thoughts messengers that you, and those dear to you, will cherish.”

Teddies Garden was inspired by three things: Katherine’s bears, Chris’s interest in website design, and a shared love of the natural environment. Chris says, “This project brings together our different skills and enthusiams and is, without doubt, our Happy Place.”
